I met an interesting person the other day. It's funny where you can find inspiration. Keep your eyes open everyone. You never know.

They say life is what happens while you're busy making other plans.

Tom Hennen has a line in his poem, The Life of a Day,

We examine each day before us with barely a glance and say, ‘no,
this isn’t one I’ve been looking for,’ and wait in a bored sort of way
for the next, when we are convinced, our lives will start for real.”

Passion does not produce commitment.
Commitment produces passion.

My final issue of Angel is on Sale tomorrow and you can see the 5 pages I inked in Doctor Who: The Forgotten in a couple weeks. Not sure what's in store for me now. I guess I'll just keep busting out more samples and put together another submission.

Six weeks ago I dutifully performed my monthly ritual. I printed my latest & greatest pages, lovingly stuffed half a dozen envelopes and set off to the post office to flush 10 or 15 bucks down the drain. My submission just happened to hit the desk of Chris Ryall at IDW on the exact day he was looking for someone to ink Angel. I finished issue 9 last week. It should be in stores sometime in June.
